Keeping track of all the 2017 NFL free agency rumors making their way around on Thursday, March 9 as free agency officially begins at 4 p.m. ET.

In the first hour or so of the legal tampering period, it felt like nothing was happening as things moved slow. Soon after, though, the 2017 NFL free agency rumors started flowing and have only increased in both volume and importance since then. Now that the free agency period officially begins at 4 p.m. ET on Thursday, March 9, things could reach another gear.

There were some big deals made on Wednesday throughout, which you can catch up on from our Wednesday NFL free agency rumors tracker. One of the biggest storylines was the report that the Dallas Cowboys will officially release Tony Romo on Thursday, something that’s been expected for some time now.

Additionally, we also saw free agent wide receiver Brandon Marshall—who was cut by the New York Jets approximately a week ago—signing with the New York Giants to bolster their receiving corps. What’s more, we also saw Dwayne Allen get traded to the New England Patriots after the Indianapolis Colts re-signed Jack Doyle. Then, of course, the San Francisco 49ers went on a shopping spree as they signed what feels like just about everyone.

Then things really picked up near the end of the day, particularly with the Jacksonville Jaguars as they bolstered their defense in a big way. In the afternoon, they agreed to terms with free agent safety Barry Church. That was just the prelude, though, as they then were able to agree with Calais Campbell in the evening.

So what’s in store for Thursday with teams on the verge of actually being to sign with these free agents? Let’s buckle in and keep up with everything below with our 2017 NFL free agency rumors tracker, which will be posted in reverse chronological order:
